How to find a good used car dealer?
I am just wondering what kind of used car dealerships to look at? I am looking to buy a brand new one (I don’t need much, a car is just a car) but I am afraid of scams. I live in the Seattle area and any good recommendations of good used car dealerships are appreciated.
Good used car dealerships are not hard to find. I worked for a family owned car dealership for a year and was amazed at how many people you could talk to about buying or selling a car. My boss did not sell very many cars at the family owned dealership, but he told me that that was because the people that would buy a car from him weren’t the people who were going to pay the money to get a new car, but that family of car buyers were the people who were going to buy a used car.
I would start by looking at the ads on craigslist, calling local dealerships and then talking to the people that have the cars you want. Make sure that you do some research in advance so that when you do call them, you know the car is good and you don’t waste your time.
I was looking to buy a 2012 Nissan 350z. I called three different dealerships and looked at a Nissan dealership that is fairly new. They are one of the best dealerships in the area. They told me that they don’t do much new car sales because their customer base is older buyers. They told me they sell the 350z for about $28,000 and I was wondering how they made that money.
I have been looking to buy a used cars in phoenix that is three years old or older. Most dealerships on a web based site will list vehicles that are 3 years old or newer. What I do not like about these online sites is that the prices are too high. I was looking to buy a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I found a listing for one on a site for new car sales, and the price was over $6,000 more than what the dealership was asking.
I started looking for used car dealerships on craigslist and local classified ads. I called a few local used car dealerships, and they quoted me a price for the vehicle. I called the dealership and they told me that I could not buy the car for $48,000. I was wondering why the price was so high.
